Meet the Owner & Chef...
Hello, I am Gary Tolla, the owner and Chef of Bay Street Dawgs. I was born and raised in a small town in Connecticut and have lived in Florida 20 years. I am a professionally trained chef with many years of experience working with large companies such as Marriott Hotels and for ten years I was the owner/chef of Tolla’s Italian Deli & Café in Winter Park, Florida. Moving to the beach a few years ago reminded me of the town I grew up in. I opened Bay Street Dawgs because I want to bring that “small town feeling” to Daytona Beach. I come from a large Italian family and have fond memories of summer picnics, swimming in the family pool and eating hotdogs, hamburgers and clams all Summer long. The relishes that I serve are made with my family’s recipe and the delicious hotdogs and hamburgers are the best around. Hope you enjoy the food and relish the moments while you dine with us.
